Show BB+IRHits without a projectile
The Torro IR versions fight their battles with an invisible infrared beam — against vehicles of the same series. Every shot is marked by barrel recoil and muzzle flash.

History: the Jagdpanzer V Jagdpanther
Panther chassis and 8.8 cm PaK in a casemate layout
The Jagdpanther carried the special-purpose vehicle number Sd.Kfz. 173. It was developed on the basis of the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther and entered service in 1944 as a tank destroyer with a fixed casemate superstructure. Its main armament was the 8.8 cm PaK 43/3 L/71.
Delivery of production vehicles began at MIAG in Braunschweig in January 1944. MNH in Hanover started production in November, followed by MBA in Potsdam in December. A total of 413 Jagdpanther vehicles had been built by the end of the war.

Frequently asked questions about the Jagdpanther
Short answers for choosing a model and combat system.
What is the difference between BB, IR and BB+IR?
The BB version fires 6 mm plastic pellets up to 25 metres — matching ammunition is also available biodegradable, in white or green. The IR version fights its battles with an invisible infrared beam and includes servo-controlled barrel recoil and muzzle flash. The HengLong model combines BB and IR.
What is the difference between Torro Pro and HengLong?
The Torro Pro models offer a specific choice of BB or IR, with metal tracks, metal wheels, a metal lower hull and the Torro wooden box. The HengLong model combines BB and IR and includes metal tracks and a metal gearbox.
Do the Jagdpanther models have cannon smoke?
Cannon smoke when firing is not documented for any of the three current models. All three product descriptions specify driving/exhaust smoke from the exhaust pipes instead.
What are the benefits of metal tracks?
Metal tracks add noticeably more weight to the hull — the model sits more firmly on the ground and the driving behaviour feels considerably more realistic. They are also much more robust than plastic tracks and do not break even under intensive use. All three current Jagdpanther models already have metal tracks.
How long does the battery last?
That depends on the battery and your driving style. The exact running time can be calculated with the battery calculator for RC tanks.
How much do the Jagdpanther models weigh?
Both Torro Pro models are listed at approx. 5.2 kg each and have a metal lower hull. The HengLong Jagdpanther is listed at approx. 4.45 kg; a metal lower hull is not documented for that model.
