Description

With a weight of around seven kilograms and dimensions of approx 650x200x230 (LxWxH mm), the RC Kingtiger Tank is ideal for the demanding model builder. The Torro Pro Edition impresses with 2.4 GHz circuit board technology with integrated loudspeaker. Due to the high weight, this model has superior driving characteristics, especially off-road. The high-quality tracks, drive and idler wheels as well as the road wheels, the lower hull, and the turret are made of metal. Accessories such as matching stickers perfectly round off the true-to-scale replica.

Control and functions

The powerful model has a 2.4 GHz remote control and receiver. The power motors with optimized torque give the Kingtiger a precise and smooth steering system. Metal gears with robust gears and an improved gear ratio provide higher power. The proportional control allows you to start the tank very slowly and increase the speed smoothly. The Kingtiger moves forwards and backwards, also with a left and a right turn. It can also be turned left or right on the spot. You can lift and lower the gun and rotate the turret 360 degrees (endless rotation). Various engine noises and smoke fumes from the mufflers round off the realistic experience.

Great tank. Happy buyer.

If in the UK you end up paying about £90 import tax & rip off handling fee to the carrier. But is untaxed by seller so initially appears cheaper.
When it arrived its battery was flat needed charging. It was a European 2 pin plug so I had to use an adapter & then after 5 hrs charging, the power lasted 15 mins tops or 5-7 linea metres!
Well designed however when it came to painting I found they had glued ALL the ropes spade cutters hammer etc onto the tank & were very difficult to remove so inevitably some fixing pegs are broken during their removal. Maybe Torro should NOT glue these on.
1x exhaust pipe had a cut where it fixes to the LHS exhaust that needed to be trimmed to attach properly & stop leaking.
One of the 2 pin electrical turret plugs was detached from the circuit board & there is no wiring diagram. I had to watch a number of videos to see where it should be located so a wiring diagram & clear picture of the inside would help the buyer.
I could make a recommendation to Torro to make the 2x plastic locating lugs inside the rear end of the plastic upper body to make them stronger & that is, to change from the 2x plastic lugs to a single plastic strip locating lug spanning across where the 2x lugs currently are.
All in all it is a very good, well made, very detailed tank but would be better if the above were addressed.

Die Qualität ist sehr gut und der Versand super schnell. Die Größe des Modells ist beeindruckend. Alles in Allem eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für diesen Koloss.
