Description

The medium armored personnel carrier Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf. D was the most successful half-track vehicle of the Wehrmacht.
During World War II, it played a key role by allowing troops to be transported quickly and protected.
With space for up to 12 soldiers, it combined mobility and off-road capability, making the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf. D an important vehicle in many combat operations.

More Impressive Than I Thought it Would Be

I was very pleasantly impressed with the fit and finish of this RC Model. It looks much better in person than it does in the pictures. The camouflage paint is beautiful and it’s a lot of fun look at when driving. I usually heavy weather all of my tanks but this one will get a light dusting. Wasn’t expecting the added detail of the opening latch on the back doors and the extra two guns stowed away inside. As another buyer noted wish I didn’t have to glue the machine gun down but not a big deal at all. Great product!

Easy to use

I am impressed with the details such a the storage hatches, windshield and rear doors that are all moveable. Compared with the M16 halftrack this is much easier to drive and changing out the battery is simple. Another bonus is the kit includes actual decals not stickers. I am very happy with my purchase.

Beeindruckend ist auch die Möglichkeit der Nassschiebebilder.
Ein super Fahrverhalten.
Was allerdings schade ist, die Anhängerkupplung ist leider nur Deko und bei dem Preis hätte ruhig ein Fahrer drin sein können.

Das Modell ist der Hammer

Das Modell besticht durch seinen hohen Detailgrad. Es ist innen perfekt ausgebaut. Die Verriegelung der Hecktüren ist wie beim Original. Sogar die Ketten sind mit echten Gummkiplatten besetzt. Die Lenkung funtionieert perfekt. Durch gute Langsamfahreigenschaften kann das Modell originalgetreu gefahren werden.

Tolles Modell mit einem Fehler

Spitzenmodell, nur wenige Teile anzubauen. Sauber lackiert eine tolle Ergänzung. Aber mit einem Fehler. Das Flugabwehr MG soll in die Halterung eingeklebt werden, nach Rückfrage beim Support. Ein einfaches Kugelgelenk wäre die Lösung gewesen. Ich möchte unterschiedliche MG Stellungen haben. Ich druck mir dann eben die passende Halterung im 3D Drucker. Dann ist es 100%

Das SdKFZ 251 D von Torro ist wirklich spitze!

Ich hatte es vorbestellt und und vor einigen Tagen in der Ausführung mit Tarnanstrich erhalten. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Details gehen eindeutig in Richtung Scale Modell, auch wenn da natürlich Luft nach oben bleibt. Die Verriegelung der Hintertür funktioniert, die Staufächerdeckel sind zu öffnen usw.. Für die Scale Freunde ist dies hier sicherlich eine perfekte Basis, um ihr SdKFZ 251 weiter zu perfektionieren oder weitere Versionen des 251er zu bauen.
Was die Fahreigenschaften anbelangt ist das Auto aus dem Karton heraus gut gelungen. Die Fernsteuerung spricht exzellent an, der schlichte Sender liegt gut in der Hand und wirkt nicht billig. Langsames Fahren stellt kein Problem dar, die Geländegängigkeit, selbst im Garten, übertraf meine Erwartungen. Die Höchstgeschwindigkeit ist für das Modell angemessen. Im direkten Vergleich mit der US M16 Halbkette von Torro, lässt das 251 den M16 Halftrack weit hinter sich. Es gibt einen satten Fahrsound, das Licht ist schaltbar, feinfühliges steuern ist möglich und, wenn auch kein Crawler, ist das SdKFZ 251 ein geländegängiges RC-Modell.

Wünschenswert wäre ein mögliches Upgrade mit zusätzlich gefederter Vorderachse, Metallketten, Metalltreib-, Leit- und Laufrädern sowie robusten Schwingarmen aus Metall. Dann wäre selbst ein längeres Trailing in schwierigem Gelände möglich. Meckern auf hohem Niveau: Zum Fahrsound wäre ein echtes Anlass- und Abstellgeräusch klasse, die Änderung des Geräusch in Abhängikeit der Geschwindigkeit ebenso. Vielleicht gibt es ja mal ein Update. Im übrigen bin ich auf die angekündigte Fahrzeug Besatzung gespannt.

Insgesamt ein tolles Modell, ganz klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein vorbildgetreues Halbkettenfahrzeg suchen, dass man auch einsetzen kann.
