Description

With a weight of around seven kilograms and dimensions of approx 650x200x230 (LxWxH mm), the RC Kingtiger Tank is ideal for the demanding model builder. The Torro Pro Edition impresses with a handmade airbrush finish of outstanding quality and 2.4 GHz circuit board technology with integrated loudspeaker. Due to the high weight, this model has superior driving characteristics, especially off-road. The high-quality tracks, drive and idler wheels as well as the road wheels, the lower hull, and the turret are made of metal. Accessories such as matching stickers perfectly round off the true-to-scale replica.

Control and functions

The powerful model has a 2.4 GHz remote control and receiver. The power motors with optimized torque give the Kingtiger a precise and smooth steering system. Metal gears with robust gears and an improved gear ratio provide higher power. The proportional control allows you to start the tank very slowly and increase the speed smoothly. The Kingtiger moves forwards and backwards, also with a left and a right turn. It can also be turned left or right on the spot. You can lift and lower the gun and rotate the turret 360 degrees (endless rotation). Various engine noises and smoke fumes from the mufflers round off the realistic experience.

The purchase process.
Good contact with the store staff at the ordering stage (but I recommend contacting them via the form on the website; I have not received a response to my regular emails).
Despite the pre-Christmas period, the shipment arrived quickly!
Very strong packaging, additionally in a solid wooden box, which makes a good impression.

The tank.
The model is very nicely painted. Heavy, metal - thats what it was all about!
The sounds are very good - starting the engine, rotating the turret, sounds when firing. After increasing the volume, you can hear the power! :-)

Cons.
The manual is not the best - it does not correspond to reality, it could also be more detailed, because, for example, starting the smoke generator was not clearly explained.
Contrary to the picture in the instruction manual, the smoke generator fluid can only be refilled after removing the upper part of the hull.
The tank switch is located under the engine cover, which in the normal position of the turret is covered and cannot be opened. To turn off the tank, you have to turn the turret sideways/backwards or remove the upper part of the hull.
The commander figure is rather weak, it does not match the quality of the tank. I suggest buying another one or driving with the hatch closed.

Despite a few drawbacks, the tank gives a lot of joy and satisfaction, therefore the maximum rating.

Wunderschönes Modell mit kleinen Schwächen

* Prompte Lieferung
* Aufwändige Verpackung, die Transportschäden eigentlich ausschließt.
* Wunderschön bemaltes, sehr wertiges Modell
* Technisch beeindruckende Lösungen (Geräusche, Schussfunktion, Rohrrückzug, ...)
* Macht sehr viel Spaß damit zu Spielen.
* Der Oberteil der Wanne ist nicht passgenau, dadurch zeigen sich vorne einige kleine Spalte, die man aber nur beim genauen Hinschauen entdeckt.
* Die Anleitung entspricht nicht ganz dem aktuellsten Modell (kein Schalter im Motorraum für den Rauchgenerator, Auffüllen Rauchliquid nur mit abgenommener Oberwanne).
* Die Oberwanne lässt sich nur bei gedrehtem Turm abnehmen. Dadurch muss man manchmal den Turm selbstätig drehen --> unangenehmes Geräusch
* Wenn man eine Figur (Kommandant oder Fahrer) haben möchte, empfiehlt es sich diese separat im Zubehörbereich zu bestellen - die mitgelieferte Figur wird der sonstigen Qualitätsanmutung des Panzers nicht gerecht.

Die kleinen Schwächen führen zu einem Stern Abzug, aber generell starke Kaufempfehlung!
